Round 2, Treatment 6+2 = A Much Deserved Break

A much deserved break is the plan anyways! Friday's chemo session began with the aggrivating local lab on Wednesday, then trying to get the results on Thursday.. but after tracking down the "go ahead" for Friday, all went well.

A great thanks to Julie, Rob & the Fiore kids; Donny, Chloe & their girls; and as always for organizing, Uncle John Nyhan, for our pre-chemo stay at the Radisson Boston. I can't express enough how staying in Boston reduces the stress of the day of chemo, it means a great deal to us.

The day went as expected, then it was off to Chelmsford to pick up the Neulasta. Once finally home I was glad to have an extra dose of the granistron for the first night. I continue to fight the nausea, soreness, fatigue, etc. that goes with the week following chemo, but this time with the thought that it will be a while until I have to do it again. The length of the break will determine how each scan looks from here on out. Keep those prayers going and fingers crossed!!

A special Happy Thanksgiving from us to all of you!! xo
